The first great ideal of our fraternity. One thing that is special about Sigma is our diversity. We come from many walks of life, but we are united in Sigma for common goals. A true benefit of this brotherhood is the bond that only grows stronger over the years. Our chapter provides several planned opportunities each year for the brothers to get together and socialize. Even through the pandemic, we’ve managed to maintain the bond.

Our Fraternity was founded by college men who understood the value and power of education. Our Chapter embraces this ideal in many ways, including  Holding events to raise funds for scholarships  Providing multiple scholarships to High School Seniors each year (for over 30 years)  Supporting events for our local Elementary, Middle, and High Schools  Sponsoring the Undergraduate Sigma Chapter at the Universiy of Tenessee at Chattanooga (Xi Upsilon)

Service may very well be the highest of our ideals. Our fraternity exists to provide service to our fellow man, as expressed in our motto: “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity” From feeding the homeless, to supporting social programs, to highway cleanup, our chapter remains highly active in ensuring that we consistently make a positive impact on our community.
